FAQ

Do you accept Medi-Cal, Medicare, or Medicaid?

We are always adding new insurance companies to partner with. Please reach out to our admissions team at (559) 326- 7775 so we can run your insurance verification.

Do you offer individual weekly therapy?

At Sierra Meadows, individual therapy is included in our intensive outpatient programs. At this time, we currently do not provide individual therapy as a stand-alone service. Our services include a combination of group therapy and individual therapy.

Do you have psychiatric services available?

Psychiatric services which include an initial psychiatric evaluation and medication management services are included within the partial hospitalization program and residential treatment. After stepping down to a lower level of care such as our intensive outpatient program, we offer outpatient psychiatric services to continue medication management services.

What mental health issues do you treat?

We treat a wide range of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and more.

How much does the program cost with insurance?

In order to provide a correct estimate for the cost of the program, we must run a verification on the insurance policy which our admissions team would be happy to start the process for.

Do you have private pay options available?

We do offer private pay options for those who are uninsured.

If I’m coming to treatment, what will happen with my employer?

We have a case management team dedicated to helping you navigate the next steps in regards to your employment.

What if I don’t want medication?

Medication management services are available for all clients, but is not mandatory.

What types of therapies are used within the program?

Our program utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and experiential therapies (i.e. yoga, art therapy, music therapy and community outings).

Do I need a referral to receive services at Sierra Meadows?

No, you don’t need a referral from an outside provider to receive services at Sierra Meadows.

Do you provide mental health assessments for the courts?

Unfortunately, at this time, we do not provide mental health assessments for the courts.
